STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The stated purpose of The CM Professionals Africa Community is to provide content management professionals with networking opportunities, a forum for exchanging and examining content management topics of interest, promoting and professionalizing content management in Africa.

The CM Professionals Africa Community will also provide a central source for media comment on the content management industry and forward the CM Professionals international mission statement and objectives within the African continent. The group will take an interest in the problem of Internet access and Internet Service Providers there.

SCOPE OF WORK
Cultivation of new members, regular meetings, communication forums, focus on selected topics of interest and provision of information about content management to the community at large. Ongoing promotion of CM Professionals as a leading professional body within the content management industry.

• PR/Communication plan 2005/2006
• CM Professionals Africa mail list
• Increase Africa knowledge and participation in the online world
• Bridge the Africa digital divide
• Bringing awareness regarding Africa internet business
